Willmar International Breaks Ground across from the CSX Intermodal Terminal in Henry Township

April 9, 2010 – Willmar Intl announced today that they have broken ground across from the CSX Intermodal Terminal in Henry Township near North Baltimore, Ohio on their international logistics and transload facility. Willmar Intl is a catalyst in the area increasing the utilization of the CSX Intermodal ramp for international containerized shipments.

With this new facility Willmar will be the only RLF approved licensed US Customs Broker and NVOCC in the area offering international shipping, trans loading services, domestic shipping and warehousing.

The completion date for the $2,000,000.00 phase one is expected to be completed in early fall 2013 and will consist of a 32,000 sq ft building for office and warehouse space. This facility is designed to handle palletized cargo in containers as well as flatbed products with a drive in unloading/loading area.

Along with this building project, managed by Clouse Construction, there will be a Potter Road Improvement project thru Wood County Port Authority and Ohio Job and Commerce which will be a great addition to this development. The entire Willmar Intl and Clouse Construction project consists of 76 acres zoned industrial with commercial lots including public utilities once completed. There are additional sites available for further development for businesses that are looking to build and locate near the CSX ramp.
